Vintage pedal car, in the limelight: The pedal car has been a staple as a toy for young children for ages! It wasn't long after Henry Ford began mass producing Model T's at the turn of the 20th century that adults had to sidestep around the kids on the sidewalks in miniature pedal cars. The steel covered toys remained high on kids' wish lists until manufacture ceased in the 1970's. Now it's the BIG KIDS turn to have some fun! |
