ROADSHOW  TREASURES

Berlin Olympic Gold Medal 1936

There are always some amazing, valuable, weird and wonderful or just massively unusual treasures discovered on the Roadshow.

Such as this above : A hugely rare 16th century Antiphonal, or if you will, a 15 century master’s choir book designed for monastic purposes in Europe.

ANOTHER ROADSHOW CLAIM TO FAME ; THE MOST VALUABLE TITANIC POSTCARD IN THE WORLD, POSTED
AS SHE DOCKED IN CALAIS ON THE ILL FATED VOYAGE.

SADLY THE WRITER DID NOT SURVIVE

You might not think much about a box of old films, but the ones we discovered on the Roadshow, over 50 in all, contained some of the rarest film footage ever, including  the first Mickey Mouse films.

value $350,000.00

And the biggest single collection of rare 19 C Japanese KOSHASHIN photographs ever assembled. Now known the world over as the

Hall collection, it was at the British Artiques Roadshow that they first came to light.

We rediscover many fine old manuscripts, documents

and important papers and accounts with the Roadshow

This the original penning of Gordons Grave

Canadian communities have turned out to the British roadshow events in their thousands for expert antiques, art and collectibles appraisals at packed roadshow events right across the Dominion. In fact ever since the first ever British Roadshow event was hosted thirteen years ago in Barrie, Ontario, we have been completely sold out.

The British Artiques Roadshow antiques and art appraisal events are always fully booked very early here in Canada with eager people keen to find out whether great grannies heirloom is just trash or treasure and it's certainly no different in Muskoka and Huntsville where the demand for advise and information is tremendous.

We are sure that the third expert antiques appraisal roadshow event at the Huntsville Place Mall in Huntsville, Ontario this spring will be just as successful as always, so book your appointment early.

Frankly, its nearly always a special treasure of one kind or another that the roadshow appraiser sees and now, with well over $60 Million dollars worth of roadshow antiques and collectibles showing up already, the British Artiques Roadshow is looking forward to coming back to Huntsville to unravel some more myths and legends, appraise and value your family heirlooms and hopefully help and advise you professionally, pleasingly and without bias or prejudice.

ABOUT  OUR  HUNTSVILLE  ONTARIO   ROADSHOW   &  OUR  ART  &  ANTIQUES  EXPERT  APPRAISERS:

Maureen Wickham is Canada's very own Doyen of the Antiques World. A Canadian expert and personal property appraiser of great personal experience, breadth and knowledge and not surprisingly widely internationally travelled.

Maureen has an equal number of years and experience in the antiques world to share with her clients as her colleague David. She lectures and broadcasts on her subject and has appeared many times on Canadian television, with regular Breakfast TV appearances right across the Nation.

Maureen is the Roadshow's expert antiques and collectibles appraiser and a full CPPAG member.

Since joining the British Artiques roadshow back in 2006, fighting off stiff competition from over 100 highly qualified expert candidates who applied for the position, Maureen has advised and offered opinions to members of the general Canadian public in over twenty five North American cities.

Her expert antiques appraisals, valuations and invaluable advise have been delivered to in excess of three thousand people conveying over five thousand possessions.

So what antique treasure will pop up next in Huntsville?

Senior Artiques roadshow appraiser, art historian, writer and TV personality, the Englishman David Freeman, has 39+ years of international experience and expertise to share with Canadians. He is both highly qualified and respected internationally as the Executive Director of one of the worlds largest independent art authentication agencies and holds down the well earned title of being North America's busiest art appraiser.

Labelled fondly by the media as the Treasure Finder General, his fantastic discoveries and roadshow finds across Canada now roll into millions of dollars.

A real life Da Vinci code art detective, David is consultant to many television shows including the hugely successful crime series CSI - the BBC's Hustle and Flog It and has been the subject himself of a Biography Channel TV programme. He writes and hosts Secret Britain and is to be both the subject of a television documentary series following his art detective work internationally and a new antiques TV entertainment series this fall.

David is the author of a brand new book detailing the millions of dollars of fantastic treasures and stories found during the decade of Canadian roadshow treasure trail events across the Dominion and he has just completed his first historical novel called the Oakum Gate.

The British Artiques roadshow kicks off its ever popular Canadian appraisals roadshow tour of Canada this April over on the east coast of Canada with antiques and art appraisal roadshows being held in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Moving on into Ontario and then into Western Canada and Alberta.

With well over a decade of expert antiques roadshow appraisal events across Canada behind them, the British Artiques roadshow and its expert appraisers were pleased to be asked back to Muskoka in particular and look forward to a great roadshow of antiques appraisals hosted by the Huntsville Place Mall for the Huntsville and Muskoka community this spring.

Canadian communities have turned out to the British roadshow events in their thousands for antiques, art and collectibles appraisals at packed roadshow events across the Dominion. In fact ever since the first ever British roadshow event was hosted twelve years ago in Ontario, we have been packed. Roadshow antiques and art appraisal events are always sold out early here in Canada with eager people keen to find out whether great grannies heirloom is just trash or treasure. With the information already leaked to the press that the Artiques Roadshow was coming to the Huntsville Place Mall shopping centre this spring, we're told that the phone has not stopped ringing at the shopping centre since last time.
